Build Asia offered the International and Pakistani business community a strategic launch-pad to access the vibrant Pakistani, Afghanistani, Chinese, Middle East and Central Asian Republic Markets.
The Event focused on the immense potential of the Building and Construction Industry in Pakistan and displayed latest Technological Advancements of Equipments, Materials, Services and Techniques in the related fields, provided opportunities to Overseas Exhibitors to interact with local entrepreneurs for joint ventures, transfer of technologies and appointing Agents / Distributors / Partners.
The International Housing, Real Estate & Construction Industry Show gave an energetic start & was inaugurated by Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan along with the Foreign Delegates in the main congress centre of Karachi Expo Centre held on 2 August 2008.
Building and Construction Sector is among the identified sectors by the Government of Pakistan as the driver of economical growth. There are strong backward and forward linkages associated with construction and housing sector and hence a spurt in activity in this sector unleashes a chain reaction in other industries. It is also said that no less than 40 industries are linked to construction and housing sector.
